How can you acquire Missed Call Alerts?

Once you have subscribed for MCA service, you need to follow the steps below in order to start receiving alerts on your mobile phone.

MCA activation procedure if you are out of coverage area is as follows:

1. Go to Menu and scroll down to Settings and press Select
2. Press Call Settings and scroll to Call Divert and press Select
3. Scroll to Divert if out of reach and press OK
4. Select Activate and scroll To Other number and press Select
5. Enter the number 142 and press OK

MCA activation procedure if you do not have call waiting facility is as follows:

1. Go to Menu and scroll down to Settings and press Select
2. Press Call Settings and scroll to Call Divert and press Select
3. Scroll to Divert if Busy and press OK
4. Select Activate and scroll To Other number and press Select
5. Enter the number 142 and press OK

After you receive a Missed Call Alert, an SMS containing the number, date and time of the party that was trying to call you, and if the number is highlighted, simply press OK Button and the call will be connected.
If the number is not highlighted, use scroll keys to scroll down and once the number will be highlighted then simply press the OK button to connect the call.

Note

Missed Call Alerts facility will not be available while you are abroad and using the roaming facility. Please make sure that you cancel your call forwarding before you leave Pakistan.
